Expecting parents needed accessible, personalized pregnancy guidance but existing solutions were either generic apps with one-size-fits-all advice or expensive human coaching services. The challenge was building an AI system that could provide genuinely helpful, medically-informed coaching at scale while maintaining the warmth and personalization of a human coach.

Built a conversational AI coaching platform using Next.js with a custom RAG pipeline that grounds responses in expert-reviewed pregnancy content. The system tracks user context — pregnancy stage, health history, preferences — to deliver personalized advice. Implemented a content review workflow where medical professionals validate AI-generated guidance before it enters the knowledge base.

Launched to strong user engagement with high retention rates. Users report feeling more confident and informed throughout their pregnancy journey. The AI coaching system handles thousands of conversations daily while maintaining quality standards verified by medical advisors.
